If sythe didnt exist

Where would you be right now ? if sythe.org did not exist.

 

Online: Ars Technica, Adafruit, Arduino.cc, Facebook
IRL: University, Brisbane City, home.

And so on. Pretty much everywhere I already go except Sythe.

In a less literal interpretation: I'd probably still be in the same place in life.

My activity here was back when the programming forums were more active and people were more keen on making RS bots themselves. Once that actually got harder the programming subsections died down a lot and considering I don't actually play RuneScape at al my entire activity nowadays is based on Off Topic when I come here. Maybe if not for Sythe I would have less programming experience perhaps, but it's hard to say.

How much did sythe teach you about programming?you studyin in in university?

 

Hah, girlfriends are way to much drama for me. I'm very much introverted and would rather focus on my own projects, electronics, software dev. etc. than go out clubbing or looking for girls.

I'm an engineering student at the University of Queensland, but my major is in chemical engineering, not software though. Because of Sythe I learned mostly things to do with bot making. I was actually learning to program software since about 6th grade elementary school (yes I was a weird kid) so while Sythe did develop my skills a little in a couple of fields, it's not to say that I wouldn't have them if I never came here.

 

I actually don't know I'd probably be gaming a lot more, since i spend most of my free time on this forum...

 

Could've probably mastered a sport or instrument the time I've spent on Sythe

 

Well, lets just say Sythe consumes most of my time and keeps me from falling asleep in class. If I didnt have it, maybe I'd be doing worst in school, or maybe better. Who knows

 

Sythe has not impacted my life in any way, shape, or form...I'd be in the same spot as I am today. Similarly to Swan, Sythe may have initially helped me with programming, but if I didn't get that help here it would have been elsewhere.

 

I really wouldn't say much would've changed other than I'd spend more time on Zetaboards Support doing more support tickets and putting more into the community.

Otherwise I'd be in the same shoes, Sythe just fills in time for me.

 

Probably be in the same spot right now. I did waste too much time on this site in 2012 though...

I really don't have a lot of time to spend on Sythe as some people might think. I have alot going for me in real life that it takes up most of my time. Sythe has become more of a place where I go when I am bored after doing everything I've wanted to do in real. More of a time filler, I suppose.
