If possible: Bigger vouch area

This would be very nice, I found that it can be hard to fit everything you need into the vouches section. I do know of course that threads can be used for it, such as MMing, or other sales threads.

I think it's easier just to keep them in a services, sales, or MMing thread rather than in a profile. If you have more than what exceeds the space just save them in a notepad.

I think this was asked earlier and that was their answer.

But i also agree with the idea to get a Vouch Topic or something
A place to post your vouches, without getting any postcounts or something.

 

If it means the amount of vouch threads that I shut down is reduced, then I support.

 

Just keep them in your MMing thread. Also, it shows veiwers how much vouches you got to use you as a MM. An OMM application might be another place to keep them.

 

I still support this idea. You could have both, vouches in profile, and thread.

 

Vouches are abused on Sythe...really...
What is a vouch? It's when someone shows that he have TRUST in someone, that he has activity together. It's just a way to say "I trust him at 100%".
But now people in the black market are obsessed with vouches...For them it's like a way to get trust, more vouches = more trust from others = more benefit. You don't need vouches to earn trust, you should be a part of the community, not only the black market. This is where vouches come from. Real vouches. They aren't currency. They shouldn't make you trusted for others, it's only a trust you earned being a good friend, or a helper, or just a nice guy to the community.
I used to be obsessed with 'em too but I'm not anymore. And remember: Sythe isn't only a black market. First of all it's a community.

Please don't make dramas about vouches again please...

 

Vouches are used for trust here, period. There's nothing else too it. It's never going to change. The only time there was vouch drama is when people were destroying the spam forum with their vouch threads.

 

Why not do something similiar to what a smaller black market site does. The site I'm referring to has a board called Vouch Mountain or something similiar where people can make ONE thread and one thread only to post their vouches.

Do the same thing here, create a new board where every member can create only ONE thread to post their vouches. Then change the vouch field in the user profile to simply show the link to the thread rather than the vouches themselves. It solves every possible problem and creates a much cleaner look in members' profiles.

I support this, it will fill up quickly with active traders. For a temp. Fix, look at my profile, the way I have it set up fits a few more, and if anyone wants to see them, the link goes to the post.

Why would you think its easier? It would take the same amount of time to put either in your shop or in your profile.. What if your shop dissapears or thread gets deleted?

 

You should have them backed up in a notepad or something anyway. Just incase.
