If I say asian people have slanty eyes, why is it racist?

It's not racist unless you actually say it to hurt them, IMO.

But words such as 'chink' and 'nigger' I find incredibly rude, regardless of the context.

 

Note: I am not the least bit racist, I think everyone should be given equal opportunity. I do not think everyone should be treated equally, as everyone is different and it has been statistically proven that different races and groups of people are more likely to do certain things, and less likely to do others.

For examples: Women tend to make better nurses and fill jobs that require people skills better, because they are generally less threatening etc etc. A lot of Asians and blacks are lactose intolerant, so it makes little sense to set up an ice cream bar in china town. I could go on, but i'm editing this before someone calls me out.

Scientists proved lower IQ's in blacks and higher IQ's in Asians (Indians and Japanese in particular, but all placed significantly higher). These Scientists were considered racist and a few were actually kicked out of their fields.

I'm honestly tired of all this "politically correct" bullshit. Stop living in the past and treat people equally.
Why do natives make 30% more for doing identical work?
Why are companies allowed to hire people according to race to make them look better? Isn't that on its own racist?


I'm white, I want equal opportunity. I'm male, I want equal laws. I'm a teenage, being prejudice really doesn't help me.

I wish I got paid for going to school. My degree is going to cost me at least 110 THOUSAND, but if I was native they would pay me.

For my 18th birthday my mom spent my child support on her car repair, and because she's a woman and i'm a teenager she can get away with it. I'm down 570$, living on my own, and what is the government doing to help me? other than raping my father of 70K a year.

Now if I were native for my 18th birthday I would receive a new car!, they also pay for my living expenses!!!, pay me to go to school, and even more for graduating!

and you wonder why this fucked up society is trillions of dollars in debt? i'm getting the fuck out of North America.

If you said it directly to one of those types of people, they would most likley deem it racist.

In my eyes is it racist? No.

If you refer to these facts in order to use them as a racial slur, "chink" etc.. then it would then be accountable as racism. Also, if you were to speak of the Asian people to another saying things regarding their skin color, or any other type of "distinction" that they may have in a harmful way, that would also be considered racism.

 

Take it from someone who is MIXED RACE no that is not racist, and also why the fuck would you randomly come and state the obvious.



If you say it someone you know, then they would react differently to some redneck they don't know saying it them.

If you say "Asians have slanty eyes" in an offensive way then it's extremely ignorant / rude..but if you say it in a factual way...then it's totally different.

 

We don't need more people taking advantage of are systems in America.

If I was the president of the United States I would line up everybody in the streets who that take advantage of are systems, don't work, don't even look for a job, and just take money from the government. Just shoot them all down. We'd save billions of dollars and we'd be the richest country in the world. Are employment rate would be full, and we'd have the best economy in the world.

BUT we have Obama in office a damn socialist.

 

Even though I do not believe it is necessary for native americans to receive everything that they do, may it be reserves, no taxes(in canada where i have residence), and free education.. I do not believe everyone of them should be shot down.

I do believe that Natives were not tricked at all out of their land, they willingly traded it away, and that was their own stupidity. Now their ancestors are receiving money to reimburse what their ancestors foolishly did? I don't think so.

The way you see it.. is that money given away to people who are unemployed, etc is stupid. Not only is this incorrect, I believe that you should really pay attention to economic advances through history before you start throwing out statistics.

The government doesn't just give out money to aid those who aren't working.. it also improves the economy as a whole for the country. When people have more money, they're willing to spend more money. If people spend more money on products produced within their own country, it gets the country even more money, making the dollar stronger.

Don't start giving out information you don't understand fully yourself.

I'm not talking about the ones who aren't working. I'm talking about the ones who aren't even looking for a job.

They aren't just "handing" it out, They take ADVANTAGE of it (Child support, Medicaid, etc.)

And now the upper middle class, and the upper class are getting taxed even more now. So people like my dad who is busting his ass off working on hours such as 8am - 9pm, and on weekends to try and save his company. Are getting taxed even more now. Just so some lazy jackasses can get a few more bucks. It's not getting any better, taxes are going to continue to rise.

Were exactly do you think the government gets there money in the first place? All there doing is taking it from one person and passing on down.

So technically if my family wasn't getting taxed, and the bums weren't receiving their welfare. We can help the economy, because my family will be spending to help the economy, AND the lazy assholes will end up dieing.

 

You still don't understand.. if the poor had no money whatsoever, the money wouldn't be spent to purchase the goods that are manufactured by the companies. If the companies don't receive enough revenue, they begin to lay off employees.

Once this occurs, your "hardworking daddy" will then become one of those "lazy assholes" who are taking the governments money.

The point of this whole conversation is.. you need to spend money to make money. Without money being spent, not much work can be done forcing bankruptcies, unemployment, etc etc. This is all done to better the economy overall, and will result in more money for those who are working.
Don't be too quick to judge.

Not all asians have slanty eyes; this is a stereotype. My whole asian family and I have normal eye's and I make fun of my asian friends with slanty eyes. Lol.

 

I think it's just pointing fun at the characteristics that different races have. Every group of people do it to each other, everybody has cracked a joke about a certain ethnicity at least a few times. Personally I don't see that as being racist, although there are radicals out there who would probably disagree.

 

It isn't racist. It's just a statement. But when you say it in degrading manner, then it's going to hurt people. If you deny a guy a job because he's black, it's racist. If you deny a guy a job because he's Mexican, then it's racist.

 

Racism is stereotyping races and offending people based on their race. It's racist because Asia refers to a continent and the eyes of people from different areas genetically differentiate as do people of the same area. It is not true, therefore you are basing the eyes of all people who come from Asia on a few experiences, which is stereotyping.
