We can make money.

How?

If every member of sythe bought as many vials as they possibly can, the demand for vials will rise. Meaning the price will hike.

Buy them at the exchange @ min price.

Ive managed to buy 250k myself.

One of my mates managed to buy 300k, hes waiting on another 200k.

Price atm = 65 GP ea. At lowest.

If you've already bought a whole lot, and thought of this before i posted it. post here ;)

if not, get buying ! :D

I have around 750k water filled vials some were from elementals...and I bought rest for herblore training so how will this help?

If ever you raise it high enough that it is worth using to Real World Trade, it will be easy to notice and they just update its price to be around what it should realistically be as they've done before.
 
i really dont think that this will work....
 
it does evetually its higher demand less stock happened wit soeone buying 8k kebabs he sold them on msrket thread in sythe. ill try buying some but i dont got much cash on my member acc and i cant trnsfer anymore since bh don't wprk much anymore

Forget using them to RWT, if you start buying when the price is low and sell when it's high you make money. Period.

After my kebab experiment, I tried it with several other high-supply, low demand items. It works.

If we do organize something to the effect of "Everyone buys this item starting at this time", there's potentially alot of $$ to be made when the prices rise.

if anything i think the price will go down since the shop update but i bought 100k of them anyway :P

Honestly, after reading your replies Raunch It K, I can see that you have no understanding of the economy in Runescape or even the system referred to as supply and demand works.

1) Jagex fixes prices of the Great Exchange accordingly, periodically. They will lower them if it becomes unreasonable.
2) If tons of people buy tons of vials, then tons of people will have tons of useless fucking items on their hands instead of cash, the only result of this might be an imbalance in the economy causing a slight deflation.
3) If you just plan on raising them higher and then just selling to profit, you're basically just scamming part of the community because ALL SALES IN THE GRAND EXCHANGE are player-to-player so it's other players that are paying these new high prices for your stupid vials.

I honestly can't stress enough how stupid and useless this idea is. You really should stop trying to endorse other players into wasting their cash too just because you did.

I highly doubt they'd ever become "the new rare".
Rares are exactly what their name says. They are rare for a reason, and I don't think a common, easily consumed item, such as a vial would get up to that high.
I'm pretty sure they'd choke it if it got too high, anyways.
