Idea to Make 500M+ a Day

Hey guys, I have this idea and I want to run it by you.

So I'm thinking of making a box staking pure with maxed melee stats (99 att str def hp) but like 15 pray and 1 summoning. This would give it a combat level of 115 or so. The reason for the 15 pray is so that I can avoid setting off the "level 113 combat" alarm bells in peoples' minds. Let's call this Account A.

Of course an account like this would find it hard to get stakers putting down serious cash, because they would most likely look Account A up on the hiscores first.

The solution is to create a decoy account, Account B. Account B would have the same combat level 115, but with 50 prayer and 50 summoning. Let's say we call Account A something like "L0L WlNNER" (note the zero and lowercase L). Then Account B would be called "LOL WINNER". I've compared these two names and it looks to me that the opponent would look up Account B when confronted by Account A. Seeing reasonable stats wouldn't give them any reason to doubt.

First of all my question to you is: do you think this plan would work? I figure that I could find at least 10 people per hour staking 10m each, and with such high odds of winning, would thus end up with at least 100m per hour. Is this realistic?

Now, these accounts would take considerable time to build. My second question to you is: if the method is feasible, should I purchase the accounts ready-made and sell off the profit later on to gain back the initial investment? Or should I level the accounts from about 70-80 att str def hp up to 99 at bandits afk or something?

This is actually happening now, not much fall for it, but yeah, you could try.

 

no one who stakes huge amounts would ever fall for this unless youre planning on playing 20 hours a day. if i ever see anyone below 125 trying to staked maxed players i just auto avoid them

 

Common practice, alot of time spent into it. I see it done many times over at duel arena. It might work still of coarse there are alot of suckers. ONe cannot predict gp/hour though that's something that fluctuates heavily on many factors.

 

Could trick a couple people, but for bigger stakes it'd be harder to fool someone

 

This has no doubt already been used.

It does work, as if they look up the wrong account, then they'll be more inclined to stake big against you.

My advice, just try not to trick people, and stake normally.

 

It will probably work here and there for not so big stakes, but you should just actually stake legit perhaps, lol.

 

agreed who hasn't tried this,I have been a serious staker and been caught out by this but once you kno whats going on it aint gonna happen again...Plus how many hours can u go up agaist takers,Usally the people you are staking are the same 1's day in and out so they gonna relise fairly quicky

 

Ok, thanks for the input guys. It seems from what I'm getting that the method might work, but not to an extent worth the time/money investment, and that I'm better off sticking to legit staking.

 

Even if all went well, and it actually worked, there is no guarantee that you will actually win the duel. Many times ive seen people with much higher stats lose to someone with lower stats.

 

Staking 1-3m would get a couple people challenging you that won't look you up.

Anything higher than 5M, people looks you up. Depending on the name, if it's something a lot of people would make a mistake at, then you could make a lot. I might just do this on my account (level 113 99-99-99-99)

 

If your stakes were really that high, they would ask you to QC your stats beforehand anyway.

Also, you might still lose lol. You don't have much to gain from them thinking you don't have maxed melee?

 

this thing works for sure but u need to train the accounts and thats the hard part of it u know, ive seen alot of people doing this and i even felt for it

depends if you suck at pking/staking. personally i have seen more people make money with staking than pking

this happened to me once I fell for it too... I forget what the guys name was but he was like lvl 118 or something and i looked him up (last three lwetters were O123), but i typed in 0123 instead..... THe guy I saw in the HS had pretty crappy stats, but high enough to be like lvl 118.... So i was like ill own this guy, and I bet 3/4 of my money 10m, and i lost it.... Turns out after I lost and typed his name in again he was like 95-95-95..... soo yeahhh i was gonna do this btw, and I guess u figured it out
