Item To High Alch??

Hello, I need an item to high alch that will lose very little money or even better, make a little bit of money. I am not asking for your best items that makes you bank, just an item I will not lose the bank with. Thanks.

 

Simple google searches do this. Look at items with their high alch price then go to GE and see what their buy price is.

Items you can try: yew longbows, dragonhide bodies, staves, rune armour, etc.

 

Thanks for the feedback. I've looked at all the usual items and all were negative quite a bit for profit. Just trying to see if anyone has any items here while I looked myself as well .

 

Rather than high-alching, I would train magic via string jewelry or plank make if those options are available to you. If not, battlestaves or various rune items have always been good items to alch. In fact, I remember some god items like the armadyl plateskirt had a price of ~36k while they alched for ~39k, but I'm not sure if the prices are the same and the supply is obviously very low. It's still something that might be worth looking into though.

 

Magic longbows/yew longbows if you alch. I would recommend stun alching or stringing jewelry for faster experience though.

Find a money making method and use that to subsidize your alching.

 

Doubt you can obtain mass amounts of an item that will give you profit.

 

You can kill some cockatrice for natures, and alch maple longbows

 

Alch in the Edgeville Monestary and pick up monks robe's while you alch to decrease losses.

 

I think you cant invent nothing new here. Yew longs/magic longs all the way

 

When in doubt, yew long (u) is the way to go.

 

My suggestion ; metal armor/weapons. This includes anything from iron-rune. Look up prices/alch values as a lot of these metal armors are very undervalued in the ge/trade values. Stay away from the traditional ''yew/maple/magic bows'' and try find something unique that works. I found that on some days you can alch mithril armor such as med helms for profit. This isn't guaranteed profit but there are always items that yield profit.

I doubt you actually used something like that for long, because of the low 4h limit of armour and because there are hardly any mith meds in circulation

 

You can alch whilst doing almost anything. You could kill metal dragons with chaos gauntlets + fire bolts and stack the casts with alches. You'll make money and get faster mage exp. You could also do agility whilst alching, barrows.... anything.

To answer your main question though, it varies. All your options are very similar really because that's the nature of alch prices so I sugest just using an item you can get the most stock of to save you time. A good example being the old fashioned yew long.
