.: Why Mithril Gloves :.
Mithril Gloves are the highest level glove you can have from the Recipe for Disaster quest series, without gaining defence xp. They are actually the best gloves a 1 defence player can wield.
Attack Bonus
Mithril Gloves have an attack bonus of +6 in Stab, Slash, Crush and Ranged, with a +3 Bonus in Magic
Defence Bonus
Mithril Gloves have a defensive bonus of +6 in Stab, Slash, Crush and Ranged, as well as a +3 bonus in Magic.
Other Bonuses
Mithril Gloves also give a +6 strength bonus, but don't give a prayer bonus to the player. They are wielded in the 'Gloves' slot.

To be able to do the RFD Subquests, some other quests have to be completed beforehand. These are only the stats needed for the RFD Mini-Quests, not the actual Pre-Quests leading to RFD.

Difficulty : Novice
Length : Short
Requirements : Quest - Cooks Assistant. Skill - 10 Cooking
Items Needed : Eye of Newt, Rotten Tomato, Greenmans Ale, Ashes. Then either a fruit blast, or the ingredients to make one (2 lemons, orange, pineapple, Cocktail Glass, Knife, Cocktail Shaker)
Reward : Quest Points - 1. Access to other subquests and culinaromancers chest.
Start Location : The Kitchen of Lumbridge Castle
How To Start : Speak to the Cook.
1. Talk to the cook, shown above. He will explain his difficult situation, about the 10th annual dinner, and ask you if you will help. He needs you to collect the ingredients.
2. The cook gives you 100 coins. He tells you to fetch him a Greenman's ale, Rotten Tomato, Dirty Blast and an Eye of Newt. They can all be bought in except dirty blast, which you buy as a fruit blast and add ashes. If you want to collect it all yourself, Greenman's ale is found in a pub in yanille, Rotten Tomato's can be found at pillorys across runescape, or the duel arena and the Eye of Newt can be purchased from Port Sarim's Magic Store or Taverley's herblore shop.
3. If you are preparing the dirty blast yourself, then you need to follow this step. If you're just adding ashes to a fruit blast, skip to step 4.
How to make a dirty blast : Use a lemon, orange and pineapple on your cocktail shaker, and use that with a cocktail glass. Use a knife with the second lemon you have, and then add a lemon slice to the unfinished cocktail. Once you've done that, add ashes and you've created a dirty blast.
4. Go back to the Cook with these items, and he will invite you into the banquet, where the real quest unfolds!
