What makes you think both accounts are linked? Here are a few convincing reasons.

    > Bot was created a day after IDB posted a dispute concerning the person he needed to refund. I hope staff is following procedure and makes him pardon after he repays the scammed victim back.

    > Once Hamouze called Bot out for being IDB, he stopped responding and logged out. Here is the thread: http://www.sythe.org/introductions-farewells/1757584-bot.html The posts are deleted, but you should be able to see it.

    > They both have same bs pretentious way of typing. View IDB's dispute, and look over @ Bot's introduction thread.

    > If you look over at IDB's ip audit, you can see he's been using a vpn or has access to a proxy. He's been apart of the Private server scene so it's not hard to imagine he used one before.

    > Soon after Bot joins, he reports 5 posts and immediately starts back seat moderating.. Sound familiar? Not only that, but in most of the reported posts, he uses the words "Uncalled for", which IDB uses a lot in his reports, along with unneeded.

    > IDB MM'd steam trades, so I'm sure he knows the basic rules of the steam forum.

    > I_DONT_BOt >>>> Bot.. Clever, or stupid? He probably purposely named the account Bot to make it a little too obvious to suspect it's him. Reverse psychology ftw?

    > What new user creates an account, just to report other people? Who else would do this besides IDB?

Bot has one IP on his audit. If he somehow comes back (which I doubt), I'm 100% sure it will be on a different IP. Keep watch of that.

Well I was correct about Bot's IP audit. I didn't want to add this to op, because it would change the edit date which makes my point null and void. Each session on the account warrants a new ip.

I found some more convincing reasons as to why I think both accounts are connected.

In IDB's pardon, he meantioned the amount of the 19m valued at the time was $2.5/m. This would make 19m cost $47.5.

After he got the okay from Superman, this is when he created Bot.

He didn't have the money to pay back the said user, so he needed to make some. If I'm wrong, ask IDB if he has the money right now to give to a staff member to hold. I'm 100% sure he doesn't have the money.

Bot creates a thread selling steam wallet codes. The funny thing is the addition of both would equate to $70, he is selling $20 and a $50 code, which is just a little above the average market price for 19m gold at $3.2/m. More assurance?

I'm convinced that it is him.

    Looking for opinions on this.

Oh, I posted the second post under the impression that he hasn't repayed the user yet.

Thanks for looking at this when you can.

    Alrighty.

Well, first thing I did was look at the IP. It's American, and doesn't remotely match any of the IP's (proxies or otherwise) ever used by IDB.

Secondly; the fact that the account sprung up when IDB disputed, points me away from IDB rather than towards.. surely if you're going to vade you do so before you dispute, and get rid of the chance of being caught, not make an intro thread and shout about it.

The wording used by Bot seems dissimilar to IDB's to me - while they may have both seemed pretentious - IDB doesn't tend to use big words for the sake of it.

The account is an obvious troll one; "I am anonymous" in the intro (obviously to spark curiosity in to who it is) and the recovery phrase "#1urmad".

I would therefore conclude that it was someone trying to overly-mimic IDB when they saw his dispute pop up.

Bot is on a vpn, so the location of the ip means nothing.

Let's say someone was trying to frame IDB, would they go as far as this to clear their name? Wouldn't they lean towards trying to frame the said person instead of making it indirect?

When I said pretentious, I meant structural pattern.

When Hamouze pointed out that he was IDB with the link to the pardon, Bot logged out.

When I made this report, Bot logged on and tried to sell $70 worth of items and at the same time try to clear his name.

When I pointed that out, IDB appears and suddenly he pays the person off, and Bot doesn't log on again. He had a pattern of appearing in the morning. <-- Around the same time IDB posted his pardon.

Why would IDB do this? I'm not sure. Obviously it was a troll, maybe a mistake on his behalf that he wanted to clear out. I wouldn't give too much trust in someone who has been perm banned 7 times.

All of this is too coincidental.

Without any solid proof Im not inclined to say it's IDB because in that case anyone could pretend to be any of us and we'd be accountable.

    I'll leave it open thooo.

Yeah I understand. I wouldn't want to pin this on him if he actually didn't do it (even if the odds are against him). I don't think I can extract any other information from this so you can close the thread. I was hoping that someone would be able to link something between the two with the information provided.

In the future if I come across anything worth acting on, I will post it.
