i5 or i7

Yeah but would you know? It depends on what type of i5 and i7, obviously..

Very true.. I completely neglected to notice that he had a $20 PSU.. I wonder if he even read the reviews because almost everyone gave it less than 3 eggs or said it broke.. Also, the 8120 only has more performance per dollar because it's cheaper.. A lawnmower has more performance per dollar than a lamborghini, doesn't mean it's the best thing to get around on..

You clearly don't comprehend BUDGET. Nor do you read.. jeez, it's NOT my build, I have a similar 8120, and 8150 build, but with better parts. I can run more bots than my 2500k and i7 860 setups with both, if he wants a comp for gaming and 'some' botting then obviously the 2500k is the better choice.

I'm gonna trust $400, $800, or $1200 with a $20 PSU?

I'm confused, if this is between an i5 and an i7 where did AMD come from? This shouldn't be a question, also if he wants to run a bot farm shouldn't he be using virtual machines instead of a pc? I don't call 10 bots a farm..

Aimless, sorry to say this but the AMD is a shitty, unstable chip that will make him have to either upgrade or buy a new one in the next year.

Also I might be mistaken but does hyper threading in the 2600k open up to more threads per core?
