Obviously I'm not a particularly low-budget person, and have decided I want a pedigree cat. There is two gorgeous types which I like, but cannot choose which. Please offer your support!

This is a Birman. Absolutely gorgeous, but expensive.

This is a Bengal cat. A huge domestic cat. Even more expensive, but the prospect of having one of these makes me cackle.

Help me choose!

Go to your local pound, and rescue a poor tabby that everybody else has forgotten about. :(

No thank-you. My last baby came from the cat and dog shelter and this time I want a high-budget baby.

Well, after you buy the high-budget cat, I'll be thinking of the poor, sad, lonely tabby that's lying in a cold metal cage, all alone, destined for the cruel needle.

The first one is WAY cuter.

Then again, the second is just amazing.

How much larger is it than a normal domestic cat?

Honestly, if your a cat love get the bengal one. I'm a dog person but if you want one that you want to "cuddle" with, the bengal probably would no be as good.

I'd pick the Bengal one. Honestly, how cool would it be to show your friends? Although it would be a hard decision for me to make, as I have all fluffy cats.

I don't buy cats on a ''show your friends the magnificent enslaved beast'' mentality, but as I love them and think they're adorable.

Especially birmans.

I can't be specific, but they're significantly, noticeably bigger.

The first one is better from a pet perspective, more cuddly and friendly, I know people with 3 Bengal's and they are very aggressive cats.

I didn't have the enslaved beast mentality either... just saying that bengal one wouldn't be a cuddle up type of cat.

I must say - the NF are hench and are cute. Require attention and high places to climb though :P

Also a brush and at least 5/10 mins grooming every day.

Before my Ass gets burnt - If I had to pick... NOT the bengal lol

The one from the shelter will be more grateful, and not a spawn of Jewish money making business'. But really, the one that's from a business will be used to a spoiled life. Don't do it.

I will not repeat myself again. This time, I want and will get a high budget cat. It will not be cheap or free. I do not want a low budget cat. I am extravagant and mirthless.
