Is that real life stuff or all photoshopped?

The ink looks real. May I ask what effect/effects you used?

 

It's most likely a texture. watercolors are a fad now ;p

and It looks cool but its simple dude. You can do much better.

 

It's some brushes I got off a resource site. I am trying to learn typography.

The typo is alright, but I would like to see it vertically spaced closer. It's a pretty simple piece as w00t said, some subtle colours or pen tooling could make it much more interesting.
