I Know this is a stupid question...

But I'm just wondering if pay by mail is just you sending cold hard bills to the other persons address in an envelope through the mail or is it a cheque?

 

Most of the time it is just bills in a envelope, But sometimes a cheque. Ask the person you are buying from .

 

Kinda always cash. If you're planning on using it, or accepting it, I suggest you don't forget to fold a plain sheet of paper around the cash (if accepting, advice the person sending the cash to do so!).

Just so your mail doesn't get 'lost' on the way there lol.

 

Yeah, I've heard a lot of horror stories about mailing cash and it getting "lost".

 

Like above posters have said, be sure to make an effort to conceal your cash.

Additionally, when people pay me by mail, I would never accept a check due to the risks of it being fake and all.
