I just remembered why I don't browse RSOF anymore

Here's a list of ten things that are dishonorable. If you wish to be honorable, you shouldn't do these.

1. Luring. You're deceiving players for money, frankly, it's unethical.
2. Botting. Self-explanatory.
3. Monster luring at TD/DKs. It doesn't matter how much that noob in full rune is annoying you, don't monster lure. If they try to crash you, hop.
4. Using protection prayers in the wildy. Because people use Protect from Melee 24/7, it's impossible to rush nowadays. Rushing is harder than it looks, after all.
5. Asking for a girlfriend.
6. Pretending to be a girl, and vice versa. Related to 5. It's deceptive, for one thing.
7. Use cannons, particularly at Greens, Dags, and Frosts. The rest of us need kills too.
8. Phish. People work hard on their accounts. Don't take that away from them.
9. Leech at Soul Wars. The rest of us play legitimately.
10. Use disruption shield at Edge. Most of us don't have it yet.

So, are you honorable?

Is it just me or is RSOF worse than it was a few years ago? I left because of all the spam a year ago. It gets worse and worse, Rants especially. Maybe I'm just wearing rose-tinted glasses. What do you guys think? >_<

What's wrong with that quote? A lot of the things there are stupid/annoying things to do and a lot people do them just to be ass holes. OR am I misunderstanding?

Some of the stuff he posts is kosher, but the rest is opinions opinions opinions, like 4 and 10. He's a whiny prick. Plus, there are more threads like it. It's like people only go on RSOF to whine.

These would be my general replies:

1. Luring. Be smart and avoid it, idiots deserve it.
2. Botting. If you don't like to deal with them, quit, they won't leave.
3. Monster luring at TD/DKs. Nothing to say here.
4. Using protection prayers in the wildy. Because people use Protect from Melee 24/7, it's impossible to rush nowadays. Rushing is harder than it looks, after all. Rushing should be avoided, it is less honorable than using protection prayers and just shows that you're greedy. If you want rules please go to the duel arena and stake.
5. Asking for a girlfriend. Let them be, how is this dishonorable?
6. Pretending to be a girl, and vice versa. Related to 5. It's deceptive, for one thing. If you honestly think that person that you're being manipulated online by is a girl... you're just an idiot.
7. Use cannons, particularly at Greens, Dags, and Frosts. The rest of us need kills too. You can use a cannon as well, just because they are smarter than you and actually use it don't complain about it.

I think I read a post that said botters have no life because all they do is bot.
Wasn't much of an explanation, just a statement. Got a few +1 too.
I didn't, and still don't, understand that.
I only use the RSOF for checking street prices on items now.

Most forums, chatrooms and communities are full of trolls. Most people in real life have the capability to bend towards that mentality if you let them online. And I've never posted on the RSOF because frankly I dont give a shit about talking to other people that no-life on Runescape. Just kidding, but I just bot 24/7 and besides that I don't really care. I used to go to the green drags on the main I had but when I got nicked for botting (-61 membership days.) After that asshole move by Jagex I was like fuck it and now I'm just smelting steel bars like a maniac (2,500 at a time) on an F2P account (48% to 63 smithing.) I've just wasted 2 hours of my life on Dwarf Cannon quest; therefore, I'm going to reach 35 smithing on my member main to start making cannonballs from now on. I'll double the profit. Maybe I'll start dungeoneering but I'm going to get all my skiller stats up to at least 40-60. I've barely done herblore before, I never bothered with hunter, and I haven't started summoning or anything like that yet.
