I just got braces

Wtf NO SWEETS NO NOTHING? I'v been eating sweets all my life and if I stop, I will feel depressesd.






Just joking, I'm getting braces next month =]

 

I've seen a fair few friends have them. They would constantly talk about them for a week complaining about how they hurt etc then they'd just stop talking about them. So i assume they got used to them.

Either way, your teeth end up real nice and dead straight. My teeth are fine but if they were slightly out of place then i'd be wanting braces. My sister wanted braces just because when all her friends got their braces taken off, they all had "perfect" teeth.

Its better to get them at your current age so in a couple years you'll be fine and picking up all the chicks with your smile lol . Just look after your teeth, i heard its easy for food to get stuck in their and rot your teeth.

whatever you do, just make sure you wear a mouth gaurd whenever you play soccer or football...or if you get in a fight. (LOL)
The inside of your mouth gets all cut up and shit, it's mega lameeeeeeeeeee.

 

I'll tell you that you will be in pain for many of the subsequent times they tighten the wire, from personal experience.

 

Yeh man, not to mention having to pull your face off the fuckers bit by bit. Also don't get clear put on, they end up looking real seedy...I always went with black coz they didn't get stained. They really pay off though, you end up with a flashy smile.

My friend jumped on my back once and i didn't know it was him so i elbow'ed him in the mouth and his mouth was all bleeding. So was my elbow since he had his mouth open and the braces cut both of us hahah. It hurt him like 20x more than it hurt me though so yeah i'd be careful with braces, don't do anything stupid like jumping on peoples backs .

I got the bracket thingy glued back on now, and I bought some Starburst sweets then realised I couldn't eat them

Braces suck. Dont eat chip. And make sure if you are required to wear the rubberbands wear them!.

Braces suck. They kill your teeth and food gets stuck in them. I had them for freaking 6 years!

 

It really stinks you get to miss your Hamburghers.

 

Braces will seem like they're a bother but will really help in the long run :\

Try getting used to them and things will be clear soon such as your limitations on which food you can properly eat.

sucks. those bitches keep telling me im getting mine off soon every time i come. they have been telling me this for the past 4 months

also, every time you get your braces tightened, you can barely eat for 1 day-4 days.

Had braces for 3 years. The pain didn't affect me as much as I thought it would. I could eat anything at anytime(With the exception of apples). I ate candy when I wanted, popcorn, corn on the cob, chewed gun. You know, the stuff they say not to?

The worst part was when wires got lose and they stabbed my lips and got caught on it. I'd have to get my lip, and rip it off of the wire.

Also, I think I looked better with the braces back when I was younger. And, I got them taken off the day after my birfday, so I was pretty friggin' happy.
