I just got braces

I only had top bracers at first for about 6 months cause i had a overbite and i would of bit them off if i had bottom.

I didnt get any needles ect and it only hurts for 4-5 days so it custard yoghurt shakes ect ect...

But don't worry about eating hard food and easter eggs and stuff once the pain is gone you forget they are there.

 

1. Yes. I have brackets on almost all teeth (except wisdom) but only a wire on the bottom atm.

2. It is not that painful. They drilled mine to clean it, used that weird suction tube to remove saliva and sprayed this weird, minty spray. Then they used tweezers to put the bracket on and then held a UV light over it (probably to see when it dried) The bit that hurts the most is the colours (or it might have been the wire) because theyhave to clip it on quite vigorously and when a few break when they are putting them on they use these scissors to clip the off and that HURTS. But don't worry, Im 13 and I was fine (there was this 16/17/18 year old girl in the next room having them and thre a strop She had them half on half off and was crying lol. She had them taken off.
