I just got 80GB iPod Classic 6th gen. how to hack.

Is it hackable? if not does anybody know where i can get games for free? cuz iTunes is pretty costly. thx

there is a method to jailbreak your Ipod touch and phone. i'm not sure about Classics though.

 

ye iTouch has jail breaked for a while now. they manged to get hacked firmware from it so you get full themes and background changes and games for free but every where i read it says that the classic is not hackable yet.. even though its been like half a year

when they transitioned from "iPod video 30GB" to "iPod Classic 80GB" apple encrypted the firmware so that its harder to hack. i just wanna change my theme and maybe get a few free games cuz the ones preloaded are gay as hell. anybody know if i can get free games without hacking the firmware? thx

 

Y'see, if you'd bought an 80gb 2nd gen Zune, the ONLY way to get games is to get them for free - and ANYONE can make them.

Oh well...

 

Just btw, if you do end up using Jail break etc. The warranty of the ipod is voided so I don't suggest you do it.

You see, it's a music player. It makes no difference.

I could care less what you like, but bagging on a company because you like something else makes you look like a spoilt brat who thinks whatever HE has everyone ELSE has to have. X9, please grow up.

I remain firm that it's a music player. If you want themes or games, simply buy a laptop or PDA.

 

Google "jailbreak Ipod 80gb 6th gen" should get you pretty much what you need, and i am not sure about your ipod, but for mine i downloaded a program called 'installer' which i use to download games and of the sort.

Also, jailbreaks do stuff up sometimes, but you can always use the factory reset.
