I invincible I - compromised?

Sent him the money via cash app, he couldn’t accept as zelle. We agreed on $500, so I sent him the money. Seemed real trustworthy and like he was good people. We made small talk over a couple days, he lives local to me, only 40 minutes away. User sent me his discord early in the morning, around 9 am. We talked through there primarily. Once I paid. Him around 8 pm my time, he had blocked me on discord, it looked like he went offline but I didn’t think nothing of it. He seemed like good people, I tried messaging and I got told unable to send. I then messaged him through sythe where he also didn’t respond. So I posted on his for sale threat stating I purchased the account and then he blocked me. Immediately after he changed all his threads to “This account has been compromised” so I knew he was a bullshitter. He changed his profile picture on sythe, changed his name on discord, and changed it in cash app. Dude was getting sweaty to steal. He messaged me on sythe acting stupid and wanting proof I sent it to him and what not. Just trying to bait me. I filed a local police report on his ass and sent him the confirmation. I was refunded about 3 minutes later.

After I was blocked on discord I posted on his thread, and he changed his listings to “compromised” immediately after.
