Build my game

Hey everyone, I have an idea for a game i would like to build for android/ios. I have basically no programming experience whatsoever and am looking for a team of people with spare time to build it for me.

Mostly i want to play the game more than i want to make any kind of profit for it, but i believe it has the potential to be a great source of income.

I am in need of programmers and modelers to do this. any profit that may come from it is something that will be split between everyone involved.

If there is any interest in doing this i can provide more details as requested.

really i just want to be able to play the game. its something that could be done by a team or an individual person if they have the free time to do it. i dont want any money from it but if the person that does it wants to market it they can.

 

do you have any specifics about it?

people would want to know how hard it would be to program it.

 

As I said before i have no programming experience at all. I dont know if this is even possible but here's what i have worked out so far.

I had played a game called munzee for awhile and began to think to myself how it would be if instead of just collecting the QR around town if i could actually aquire something for it. This is what i came up with.

Basis

A game similar to pokemon where you play in real time in your hometown. Scanning QR placed around the city and tagged using gps coordinates in order to battle and capture more sprites to build your team.

Mobile alerts to inform you of other players near you in order to battle and add friends.
Different tiers of sprites (Common, uncommon, rare, legendary)

In game interface to allow for customization and a game to play using your sprites, I.E. a story mode or a farm of sorts.

Some sort of leveling system for self or sprites.

Menu

QR reader > Scan QR > Download sprite > Battle to capture or for EXP to level

Train > Sprite menu > Choose sprite > Train, feed, view

Marketing Potential

Selling QR codes based on rarity. Adding expiration after activation to individual QR for legendary and rares to keep people buying them.
Limiting number of battles per day and selling more energy.

 

So we have to leave our chairs to play the game, right? Just seems like geocaching+ imo, no?

 

mostly yes, but i want to see one with a pvp system incorporated so there would be more of an objective to it.
