I commented on a Golden plug's report attempting to help explain the RSPS situation, even though I had no involvement I thought it would be helpful of me to try to give staff more details on os-scape specifically.

Needless to say my help was apparently not appreciated as that's what my 5th infraction was for, I wont mention the staff that did it out of respect but :shrug: I got a 3 day ban for trying to help.

U can ask staff to confirm that, obviously I wont be commenting on anymore reports due to that but I would of thought someone could of asked me to stop/pmed me before banning me, but it happens.

My final infraction was not due to something stupid though, It was for trying to be helpful.

I don't blame the staff for upholding it, it was the right thing to do and I would of did the same thing in this case, but since u asked that's why.

I don't think their out to get me, they just did their jobs on that 5th one, the others I disagree with a bit but that last one was a solid infraction, just happened to be my 5th and happened to be when I was trying to help.

 

There's rules there. You should be more careful and read it. It specifically states do not post if you're not involved. So really, you might think your being helpful, but it's a nuisance cos you're actually breaking the rules. You should really read stickies and the rules, because you seriously keep getting so many infractions unnecessarily. If you doubt something you just ask them it's not that hard. Don't risk it. Cos you look stupid every time you get a ban and then act like you don't deserve it.

 

I'm aware, I cant leak the convo I had with the staff but I pretty much said, I was aware of the sticky and wanted to help anyway so I commented, I asked him if he'd cut me a break since I was trying to be helpful, he said no, I waited out the ban & life goes on.

I violated the sticky sure, but it was for a good cause of trying to help a scam victim and I took the punishment for that, I don't blame staff for giving me that punishment in this case because it was warranted, but if my comment helps explain a situation better so a victim can get refunded, then I'm going to do it 10/10 times(obviously not now that I've been warned, I'd just PM the staff handling it). I didn't try denying the punishment , I merely asked the mod(and an admin) if he'd show mercy due to me trying to be helpful, answer was no, so I waited the ban out and life went on.

 

I can grow a solid beard in a week or less. It's a blessing and a curse.

I mean c'mon you've got some kinda of site ..idc about it.. and you have 0 reputation cos you act like an idiot. You could of just pm'd said staff about it. Like you need to learn to not act like your staff and beyond everyone else. Staff aint nothing either, but the rules are there for a reason. Helpful or not, stop breaking them, cos it's annoying to watch staff deal with your shit, especially after Sythe gave you that chance to be a DNT, and you got unbanned from it. So stop taking the piss in future. Follow the rules and don't be a moron.
