    I have a complaint

    This is easily the weakest part of the site.

    Honest to God, I can't find a good article. Let me find some examples;

    http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=437322

    This is an awful article. It's disgusting. The writer has no technical knowledge, no writing skill, and it has not been proof-read. The article itself contains no new, interesting, or complete information. The User Educators should not be bad writers, and the User Educators should not be ignorant or stupid. If a User Educator is a good writer, but is ignorant or stupid, they should be consulted only on technical details, and not allowed to write anything original. Everything should be proof-read ("It saves a lot of space and time when making a multiple based website" is one example of, in my opinion, the worst User Educator). The trouble is that, due to the large proportion of young members, Sythe has an acceptance culture. Everyone must be special in some way, even "Rawr Im Phat", who cannot explain the non-specific syntax of CSS, or the differences in theory behind CSS and HTML, but is assumed to know enough to educate others. An acceptance culture is fine with decorative ranks, but to give someone the title of educator is to trust them to have a significant level of knowledge and capacity for reasoning.

    From his other posts on the site, we can reason that "Rawr Im Phat" is a young, inexperienced, ignorant person, with nothing to teach the vast majority of us. He does not have the life experience to teach philosophy or studies of life in any way, but he does not have the knowledge of anything else in particular to teach us either.

    Lest you fear I'm bullying him, I'll say now that the problem is not solely with one User Educator, but he is easily the biggest problem with the section.

    NB: If I've offended "Rawr Im Phat", I'm sure he can take solace in the fact that every single User Educator save one or two that I haven't seen, are in the same boat as him. It is not his fault that he is showcased as a fool for the whole site to see, he has had this thrust upon him by the culture of acceptance in Sythe.

    08-06-2008 was when I made that guide, which was previous before I was a user educator. There's no need for you to be such an ignorant fuck. As my capacity of knowledge has grown since the time of this guide. I don't see why you'd have to grave dig such an old guide. Get a life.

    Being angry doesn't help the fact that you are not qualified to educate anyone.

    Show me your newest guide so that I can show you that you are wrong.

    EDIT: http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=508487
    This is your latest guide, from what I can see. You do not understand copyright, you do not understand keyword-blocking software at schools and you certainly do not understand the internet. That you are considered the best example of an educated person here is a blot on the website.

    I'd like to see a guide of yours, to see what makes you superior than any of us; seeing as you think you're more intelligent.

    What happened to all those masturbation guides?
    Since most of our users play Runescape, you can assume that they are somewhere in that age group and require our help on how they can achieve higher levels of pleasure!!!

    Plus, it will attract more users to Sythe, which is what he wants isn't it?
    Perhaps a masturbation section!

    Pick a topic from the following;

    Motor mechanics
    Maths in programming
    The tripartite mind

    I'll try to write between 300 and 500 words, but I work a full-time job, so I might be cut short.

    I'll do the theory and practice behind a Project Euler solution, and post it as a new thread. I am not doing this to impress you or make you think I'm intelligent, I'm doing this to make the powers that be aware of the broken system in place.

    I don't think you know the exact meaning of User Educator... We don't have any superior power compared to and other Sythe User, we just have a rank that labels us as part of a team of educators. User Educators, don't have to be the brightest, most intelligent person on the forum... Although, some higher intelligence is a plus, we also LIKE to educate users and have fun doing so. There's much more than just being smart to be on the team, although... if you'd like to help on the team. Make some guides, criticize, help others... Do whatever, because from what it seems you could be a good part of the team. That's if you'd like to instead of critiquing our semi-flaws I guess I could say. Plus, why'd you have to pick on me in your source on post one?

    That's not exactly true. You have the unique ability of being unable to be slapped with an infraction for back-seat moderating.

    I'm sorry for picking you. In hindsight, I should have picked several, because all of the User Educators are awful.

    I think the idea that I should join your team and stop criticising you is disgusting. Do you honestly think that you are beyond improvement because you have some pixels by your name?

    EDIT: Holy shit I just noticed that you don't think you need to be more intelligent than me or know more than me about a subject to teach me it. What?

    No, not true. That's only for the few who think they have that power to back-seat mod. I don't believe that user educators should have a right to back-seat mod outside of the Education forums. Our power is inside the User Education section only, as I think it should remain. If you're talking about what unb4nn3d did, I can see why that makes you think that.

    I don't think you still what the rank means... But, I do not think I'm beyond improvement because of pixels, I try to learn everyday so I can help educate others.

    Hence the double post? Above the rules even if they're small, ehh?

    I completely agree with you Dark.

    I do respect the user educators if they write quality guides but I consider guides case by case. Getting tagged "user educated" isn't considered (by me anyway) a highly respectable title.

    People that use there titles the way they're supposed to be used, without getting power hungry, without bypassing rules, and without causing problems (Such as the market mods, Shredderbeam, Viper, and most of the staff in particular) are the people we need running the forums and keeping them in high quality order. Those particular people are the ones respected and hold their titles as such.

    All the sudden I am "awful"? Please elaborate. In a PM though, because I feel this has become spam and I'd rather continue this elsewhere.
