So today I was texting that girl I told you guys about.. the one in Arizona who seems to REALLY love me..

Well a few days ago, I was honest and told her, the distance was killing me and I couldn't do it right now. Not saying I would never..

But I found out 3 days ago, she had cut herself again.... and even started to do drugs again...

I was the only person she trusted enough to help her the first time, when we were together.. now, that I hurt her I guess, she went back to it...

Anyway, around, 9am, 12pm her time, the last thing I got from her was "Oh..", now we weren't arguing it was just, me and her explaining how we felt. Then I noticed, my messages weren't going through, and when I got home, I got that, "the number has changed or been disconnected" message...

I facebooked her, even though she deleted me a week ago after I told her I was upset... and sent her an e-mail, but, I still don't know if she just wants to completely cut me off, or something...

Should I just leave it alone? I mean come on, I hardly ate today, I cried a little bit ago, and well, I just.... feel like shit and would rather be dead or under a rock...

Long distance doesn't work. Cut it off asap while you both mean relatively little to each other.

And her cutting herself and doing drugs is just her way of coping. Tell her she shouldn't cut herself or whatever, then leave it at that.

She'll stop in a few weeks.

You have to leave girls like that alone because if you go back to her every time she does that stuff you would have to stay with her forever it really just isn't worth it plus the long distance it's really more work then its worth ..

It sounds like she isn't mentally stable, you do not want to be with a girl like that, as the person above said if you keep getting with her every time she hurts herself you will be with her for ever. Tell her to get help and then leave her alone.

All right first,
she has mental issues. that's no lie, she deals with her problems by doing drugs and by cutting herself.

second, she blocked all communications with you and obviously doesn't want to talk to you anymore.

Life isn't composed of miracles, she doesn't have too much of a chance making it, and you being a thousand miles away doesn't help at all.

She decided to trap her life in a box and can't move,
but you should progress with yours and just leave it there.

Don't be a hero

I think long distance relationships only work once you've been in a short-distance relationship with that person. Try to move on is my opinion as you are too young to be worrying about pleasing a girl. Play the field and have fun with it until you really find someone you love and care for.

I highly disagree with the above statement. Me and my current girlfriend had a long distance relationship for around 6 - 8 months until she moved in with me... How would distance not work in the first place?...

Anyways - Personally, if I were you, I would do whatever I could to cut her out of my life. After what I've been through, I tend to cut people out of my lives when I know shit will hit the fan... But I dunno what you should do. Perhaps whatever feels right?

Honestly, I want her happy, but not me hurt from distance...

I may just go with what her best friend suggested, just to forget her.... =(

best thing to do is to find her and talk to her in person

My question is that if it was a long distance relationship, how do you know she wasn't doing these things all along? Face it, you'd never know the difference and she can tell you whatever she wants you to believe.

If you truly want to have something with her, try to win her back. Maybe find a way to come visit her if you both agree on it. Whatever you do, don't blow up her phone or e-mail or facebook or whatever. Girls hate that shit for some reason, even though they always make us do it.

Long distance relationships don't always end too good anyways.

Long distance relationships never work out. It's not your problem how she deals with situations; she is slightly off. Just keep in mind that you did everything possible trying to contact her after the situation.. she cut off the communication. Just take the out and consider yourself a free man. Any other guy in your situation would have done the exact same thing so don't beat yourself up.

Ok. It seems that this girl has a lot of problems, but you can't always be there to make sure she is happy, as much as you want to be.

If she wants help, she herself has to want to get help. You can talk to her and I advise you to about it, know what's bothering her, even if you can't do much about it, you can still be there for her. Have her know someone cares so she can take the first step and get help.

I know this might sound strange but when you talk to her, make her feel good about herself but don't get too attached because maybe you might start feelings things for her again, but just be a good friend. Talk to her about getting help, call her from time to time so she can hear someones voice instead of always talking to her online.

Again, if you ever need to talk to someone about her or just your own problems, feel free to add my MSN. PM me for it ;)

I had a girlfriend like this except it wasn't long distance, she would cut and threaten suicide and made me feel like shit because I couldn't really help her with it and she refused to get help. I eventually got tired of it as she was making me miserable to the point when I said that I was breaking up with her. Her response to that was something a long the lines of I guess you'll never see me again or something around that. I just ignored it and continued on with my life. Next week she was in school and I haven't had to deal with her since. This happened like 4 years ago and she is still in my school.
(Just forget her)

Well, I have been down the long distance road and I have been down the seemingly suicidal road too. Depends on how long you two were close, how well you know her family and what the relationship with her family is like, but you could call her parents. I don't know how old you are, but that's what I did when my girlfriend of the time tried that bullshit on me.

Also, if you do get in touch with her, you should confront her about staying clean. If you stated that it wasn't permanent and that you would like to be with her at a later date, then you should ask her what she was thinking. You helped her get clean, and I assumed you liked her to stay that way. IMHO she pushed you away and enjoys living that lifestyle enough to push away the person that helped her get clean.

if you've seen the movie euro trip do that, except without all the other crazy stuff that happens

Too be honest, I Havn't read your other threads etc,

How did you guys meet?

How do you know she isn't just leading you on as a "joke" saying that she cut herself and is doing drugs, Could she be lieing?

Just a suggestion don't hate.

Do not be upset with yourself for the problems that she puts on herself.

If you tried your best to help her, then thats all you can do, if she does not want to talk to you just leave it be, you can not give her anymore then you have given.
