I got pmed my Mod Mark...

[glamazonia]

Pretty clever tbh Though I hope not many fall for it.

That is what I was going to say, lol, that is smart. It even almost had me fooled until I looked at the link they messaged.

[SamBooDii]

The noobies are at risk

[#KushTree]

Damn lol,he probably would've got me if he didn't have the Tk webdomain.

[Vickz|Specs]

That was actually pretty good thought lol.

[Herman Li]

That's why they have crowns

[Punkerpunk13]

When bas showed me this on MSN, I was extremely puzzled.. I found out it was fake, but it never occurred to me how it was fake.

I really do think this was extremely clever.

[iBowi]

People fall for this everyday...whoever scams like this is a sad fuck

[j bounce]

lol i once got a pm from 'win all day' like this

[rstrader1471]

^^

Also, when you've been contacted by a Jagex Moderator their crown will still be shown in the PM. They also contact you through the built-in message box of your account when inviting you to become a Player Moderator.

This.

Also, i don't think they PM you, i think you get a message. Also, they wouldn't give a link via PM.

[rsking182]

Wow that is genius ha I would not have thought of that

[Matt0076]

Can't believe anyone would actually believe this (no offence OP). People have been doing it since the day Jagex updated chat.

[FacelessVoid]

who would be that stupid to go on other site to register

[thatguy1234]

if that was me i woulda fell for it >.>

[stinger43]

Eh i mess with ppl that try to phish. I used to get phishers like everyday in my email and then i started replying to them and typing stuff like

Username: Youradouchebag
Pass:Youlikemeninandaroundyourmouth

and stuff like that, then he spammed my inbox with messages from "jagex" saying "Your a fuc*ing ******* ***** *******" lolllll

[@Fusion]

lol. This is smart, not real though.

[MrLuckyDraw]

Dang, thats clever! I didn't see that coming!

[<3☻]

Rofl to who ever would fall for that,
That's so obviously a scam to being invited in-game to being a Player Moderator.
