What makes you play Runescape? I do the same thing as I used to, but the magical spark of Jagex wore off I guess after 3-4 years.

yeah that sucks, same here i used to like "need" runescape, but now i really don't care for it. i only play it like a little a day now.

Same, I remember playing...without being bored like fishing lobbies for two hours straight. But now I just can't stare for one minute...I just usually watch youtube vids and read other stuff.

Wow... maybe this is contagious.. recently I have just not done anything in Runescape... I actually did something with my life... but in the past year I have thought about quitting because I know everything about Runescape now.. When I first started.. My friends and I thought 10k was filthy rich... also kept trying to find different ways to do stuff... we never communicated with any other RS players unless it was an irl friend... and we would try to find out how to do stuff... man I loved those days.. not knowing shit and just guessing all the way... =\

Wow dude, well said, exactly head on. Runescape was fun when you had hopes and didn't know what's out there. I'm 123 and now it just blows. Like I get rich, and what? I get to PJ kids in AGS all day? Yay....

Well i have a different problem, my adiction to rs gained UP.

At the beginning (2002) when i played runescape i had a pretty nice feeling in my little tummy, and loved to just walk around and play.

But now, these days i just want to get better and gain alot of money, its more of an addiction then just having fun for me.

Mine was too so I started taking breaks and before long I was back. I usually only play as much as I used to if I am speeding on Adderol.

What makes me addicted is just finding a new skill to do.
I look for a low skill then find a guide to leveling it up.
I get really into it after a while.

I really enjoy doing CB skills but once I am burnt out on that I do something like fishing or something. I switch it up and that's what makes it fun/addicting. Anyways if your not having fun than just take a break for about 1wk to a month. Then log in and you will slowly get back into it. At least that's how it is for me.

Gratz I guess, but I don't see why you should still bot, if you don't play anymore. I semi-quit RS like a month ago(Still doing Fire Capes though!), not missing it (I still sometimes log on to talk to friends, etc.)

It's called out-growing runescape, happens to everyone, no one will play runescape forever, everyone will get bored of it at some point and never go back (pretty much whats happened to me).

You have a few choices, find a new MMORPG then go back to runescape at a later date, or try find something addictive in runescape again, if you really want to start liking it again...

yea dude same thing happens to me after a few days of botting i just auto for fun while not actually playing the game, idk it just seems fun
