The irony is the fact that you stated Deacon's point of view, but tried to claim that it was wrong. Deacon is complaining that these "Which do you prefer?" threads have nothing to discuss (because stating what you prefer isn't discussing)

The fact of the matter is, that there is nothing to complain about. It makes no difference in his life seeing a "which do you prefer" thread. He takes it upon himself to make a thread for the sole purpose of complaining that he doesn't like it. If that isn't egotistical, then I don't know what is. I simply wanted to point out the fact that he is an idiot for whining about certain discussion threads on a forum with thousands of threads, just because he "is annoyed of seeing them".

If I wanted to, I could go through the forum and point out a dozen threads that no body gives a damn about.
