Is there a post count requirement or something?

No sir. I just donated on the user center with my BTC wallet.

My avatar wont work for just me. Everyone that commented on the thread had no issue setting it as theres.

You weren't set up as a donor for some reason, I've fixed that so you should be able to set your own avatar as well
