I bought a 131 - Need help with securing.

Hey guys well before I bought a 135, I had email, recoveries, and passwords set,
the account got hacked back in 1-3 days. I was wondering what else can I do because for this 131 I set email, recoveries, and password, should I buy members for it and maybe that will help? Please respond, I don't want to get hacked back.

Depends who you bought it from.

If it's from a trusted member, then you should relax and simply wait a 2-4 weeks to secure the account.

Otherwise, even setting your own recovery questions, registering your own email address and applying your own membership to the account won't secure it enough as the original owner will always be able to recovery the account.

Whenever I decide to purchase a high costly account, I usually try purchasing it from someone who lives in the same country as me, as generally the ip address should be relatively the same which gives me a better chance of an account recovery.

 

You can't compete with an original owner when recovering an account. Sorry.

 

Thank you Jeff. I tried recovering account to check, it got denied, account is locked *which means I put at least some good info in* I just pm'ed him on Skype to tell me other info when he gets on, but for now I did as best as I could to re-recover it.

 

You can only bump your thread once a day.

One the other hand if you secure a credit card onto the account you can recover it back 100% of the time.
