I belive I Have A Grafphics Card Problem "Help Please"

When I reformatted my computer cd/downloadable games don't work for me. I recently want to play Frets on Fire which is like guitar hero but for the computer. It opens but it's really really slow, so I read on a FOF message board and they said to update my graphics card. I tried...

Heres where I need help

Your problem is that your drivers are gone and your GFX card isn't being picked up, here the links to fix it;

You don't even need him to help you with that.
When you re-format your computer, always make sure you have the necessary drivers at hand somewhere.
Seeing you don't, I suggest you contact your video card manufacturer. In most cases, they have the drivers free for download.
If you have a Nvidia graphics card for example, get your drivers from www.nvidia.com.
That goes for others like ATI etc. Aswell.

Google is your friend when looking for missing drivers

What Information Do You Need?

 

Basically, I need to know what graphics card you have.
I need to know the brand and the type. Like an Nvidia Geforce graphics card.
Or ATI radeon. Or any brand and card type. It should be on the box of the graphics card you purchased.

If it was a factory build-in, like with some of the low-end dell desktops I'll need to know the brand of your computer.

 

I didn't buy one and It says I don't have one but I do.

anyway.... To update a driver follow these instructions.

1. Right click my computer and click manage

2. Find the Device Manager tab and click it.

3. Find your graphics card or whatever driver you need.

4. Right click it and press update driver.
