I beg your pardon?!

I'm going to be honest, I didn't spontaneously become humbled and come to ask for a pardon, I heard from the IRC that Sythe said I should do it and perhaps I'd be unbanned. The main reason I never made one was that I didn't want to go do it only to be denied, though now I feel I have some grounds to perhaps be accepted so here's a brief note.

Things good:

Helped site
Banned lotsa scamming peoples
Made a free signature thread which produced over 50 signatures (Steph still uses hers )
Made roughly the same amount of free avatars for the staff
Anyone remember the sting operations? Now that was some efficient scambanning.
I continued to help people on the site many times even after banned.

Things bad:

Phishing

Yeah that was a dick move, what can I say, I was young and just learnt how to code a basic PHP mass mailing script, I really can't justify those actions other than with ignorance and immaturity at that age. I'm doing a double degree in IT and Commerce at University of Sydney and am now much more aware of the ethical (and probably more importantly legal) consequences of actions such as these.

Then again, if you really think I'm still a wang, quite a few well known members have me on facebook (x9, Finn, etc) and if anyone wants my address I'm more than happy to pass it on (though I wont do it here for privacy reasons). If I ever do anything naughty naughty you can literally come to my house and spank me for it.

But yeah, the other reason you should do it is the simple fact that if you don't, I'm just going to keep making accounts now and then when I feel like posting, cause the site is still a pretty interesting forum when all is said and done.

 

Pardoned & unbanned on the grounds of great contributions to the site (some of which are ongoing, e.g. the latest offer of graphics for the site). Please don't let Giv or I down.
