Testicular Cancer.

I've been worried about having a problem with my testicles for a while now, whenever i check my testicles the right one has a little small lump, around 1-2mm on what seems to be the outer layer of the testicle.

The issue is that, i feel it some days, but some days it's as if it's not there.


I havn't gone to the doctors for this type of exam before so i'm not really sure how i feel about this.

Any guidance guys?


edit: I went to the doctor today, they said it's most likely some sort of cyst because it appears sometimes and you cant consistently feel it. So that's reassuring. He just said to keep an eye on it.

Go to the doctor lol. No one on this forum, or online really, can help you. If you're concerned you could possibly have cancer, the doctor is your best bet.

 

Seeing the doctor asap would be more than a sensible option.

 

I went to a doctor once to check for STDs. Found it somewhat akward but in the end you do it for yourself, for your own health. So fuck everyone else and let yourself get checked.

 

There's several 'self-tests' that you can do i.e. checking if one hangs lower than the other in the shower. However, the only way to truly find out is just going to the Doctors and getting them checked. I've had a few friends in similar positions but with STDs and they were nervous, but trust me, Doctors see this kinda shit everyday. For them, looking at your balls would be no different to looking at your hand.

 

Go see a doctor...worse much if you ignore it and let it spread.

Not gonna lie, Just felt up my balls for the past minute after reading this thread.

 

It's always good to consult your doctor if you're worried about something major. However if you're not noticing increase in size and or a feeling of "fullness" in your scrotum then you're probably fine.

I had mine checked about 2 years ago and was told it was this (basically semen build up/backed up) happens to majority of men, some notice, some don't. Best of luck.

• Spermatocele (non-cancerus): A cyst-like growth that contains fluid and dead sperm cells. This is usually located above or behind the testicle in the epididymis (tubing behind the testicle that carries sperm). This is more common in men who have had a vasectomy or testicular injury.

 

Yeah, it's good to regularly check. I heard about once a month.

 

Definitely get checked. Don't rely on any of these "self tests". There is a much higher chance of it being benign (not harmful) but you want to get it removed as soon as possible (if it is even a tumor). I had something similar on the side of my leg years ago that I went in to get checked and later removed.

 

Yeah you're right, if it is harmful leaving it would only mean it would get worse. I'll book an appointment today

 

After all they check up on dozens if not hundreds of people per week there's really no reason you should feel any form of shame to get yourself checked out ^^

 

Always need to check and go to the docs! not enough men know what to look for!

I had the same exact issue. Ended up doing a minor surgery overseas, when i came back to the U.S doctors told me the surgery wasn't needed. So gotta go visit a doc asap

 

testicular cancer is some real shit, highest incident rate of all cancers yet most easily treated.

I had, not a pain, but a slight ache in my right nut and got that shit tested asap. Turned out to be some sort of minor testicular torsion, caused most likely due to rolling too much about the pelvic area.

My doc was female aswell lmao.

 

Go to the doctor now. Pretty much the only way they can actually cure the cancer is if they detect it early enough. IF IT IS CANCER.

Waiting because it feels like an inconvenience is not the way to go.

The sooner you go the better.

Regardless you don't want to lose a nut because you were a day late.
