    I'd absolutely love this. It's obviously not needed, but it'll make browsing a lot easier. At least a trial would be great, that way if it appears to be too messy and unprofessional, it can just be removed easily and we'll know for the future.

    Can you remove the commas after everything, there is no need when each opening has an image/separation anyway; looks odd.

    I wouldn't say it looks bad, it's just a bit cluttered at the minute. I'm sure Richard will tidy this up if he feels it isn't quite right.

    Personally I think it's a great idea, should help revive some of the less active sub cats.

    EDIT: A couple of suggestions:

    Could the icons for read/unread/marked be removed in theory? - I think this could help tidy it up a bit, and remove some of the annoying a:hover events.
    Could the subcats get a dummy reference to make them shorter? - Something like "OSRS Pures" instead of "Runescape 2007 Pures and Skillers".
