hybridding !

is hybridding more Effective in some way compared to the other pures? .

but hybridding has more of a 2-3 hits your dead if u dont switch correctly right?

Not really 2-3 hits, especially if you can recover w/ brews quickly.

There are a lot different techniques to hybridding than just switching.

 

Hybrding/Pking on RS is 75% luck, 25% skill. Switching, gear and mechanics all play a part; but mostly the RNG does all the work.

 

Some pure hybrids switch prayers and use all 3 different styles, so of course you'll have to get used to the mechanics to do it effectively. But there are always those ridiculous 34-34 rambo's that just 1-hit you.

 

Hybrid pking in my opinion is more fun and versatile, it also creates the surprise effect when you switch styles to try and get a KO, you can deliver some very unexpected punches as a hybrid, whereas a melee or just range/magic you are more restricted. Learn the hotkeys, I did and it helped tremendously even just from switching to spec-bar and back to inventory for combo eating. It gets a little trickier when incorporating prayers, but practice with the inventory+spec bar first. You will enjoy it.

 

Use the duel arena for practice before you go out and risk your entire inventory.

 

Hybridding is more than just '2-3' hits. It's about predicting your opponents next moves etc. Knowing when to fake and to spec.

 

Hybriding is a skill that some of us just do not have, I personally can hybrid, but against some people I just get absolutely smacked around and it's hurtful.
Faking your switches/specs are really the best things to learn. With those you get pretty good combos and specs.
