[Food] McDonald's - Sweet BBQ Bacon Signature Burger on Texas Toast Review

This is my last of my series of McDonald's reviews. I decided to tag onto my Texas-exclusive slush with another Texas-exclusive item. Bread.

I wasn't really looking forward to this burger but I thought it would be nice to review when I saw McDonald's still had Texas Toast.

The burger has "grilled" onions, onion strips, bacon, sweet onion bbq sauce, and white cheddar.

Grilled Onions are hit or miss with McDonald's products, but in this burger they were a huge hit. I didn't notice the off-texture they usually have and the flavor wasn't overpowering (yes, 3 onion products and no overpowering onion). Onion strips were likely those cheap onion strips but they did wonders on this burger.

Sweet onion BBQ sauce tasted similar to their normal overly-sweet BBQ sauce that you get with the McNuggets, except a bit better in the form of a burger. Also, this was one of the few times where white cheddar impressed me.

The Texas Toast was a bit dry, but that's what you get when you have THICC bread. It was slightly buttery, but I don't think it really carried the burger to its rating. Just helped it.

High 5/5. Marvelous burger. Reminds me of the Western Sirloin from Jack in the Box mixed with Western Burger from Carl's Jr.

Well, I did have horrible lighting in a moving vehicle. The pics were both awful but they were the best I had. It is what's in the inside that counts.
