Hows Nascar a sport?

anything that takes skill is a sport i mean ima football player and i hate to say it but cheerleading takes skill so it would be a sport thats my outtake on sports but there would be skill in nascar i mean what normal man can save a racecar from wreckin at 180 mph

 

I'm from the UK and Nascar is a sport.. I don't watch it but I know that it is a form of oval motorsport, would you question F1 to be a sport?

I find this question so insulting...
