How would you keep a runescape account?

Is it possible to keep another account when you didn't originally make it?

Say you set your on email/recovs on it what then?

 

There's no way to do what you're asking. Any original owner can take back their account at any time if they have the right information, even if you've set email/recovs.

Whenever I buy accounts, I always set the email/recovs first, make sure there's no bank pin/recovs already set, and then that's it. Then you just hope that it doesn't get recovered

 

Have you had any luck doing that?

 

I do the exact same, One guy tryed too recov. I got it back though.

 

Do the recover test, or have a OMM do it first, the OO can always recover, but this way you know you can recover back.

There's a place on the forums specifically made so players can erase old info on an account. There was a thread specifically made on this within the last 3 days in the Runescape 2 general section.

 

Recovery test is just having someone test the recoveries to make sure the recoveries given to you were correct (as in they work). This is done by filling out an account recovery form (obviously) and filling out the info that was provided to you. If the recovery is successful then the answers provided were legit. If recovery fails, then it's either insufficient info or false answers.
