screen recorder gold Description:
Publisher's description of Screen Recorder Gold
From Screen Recorder Studio:
Screen Recorder Gold is an easy-to-use, fast, and powerful screen-video-recording software for recording screen activity into standard AVI video files. Sound from your system microphone also is recorded. It is an ideal tool for making software demonstrations and developing videos for training and tutoring. If you move the cursor, launch a new program, type some text, click a few buttons, or select some menus--anything you see on your screen--Screen Recorder Gold will be able to record all these and allow you to play them back later. The recorded movies can be added to the accompanying help files of commercial software to make them more professional. The recorded videos, if converted to a streamable format, also can be posted to your Web site to provide extra help and just-in-time customer support.

Editor's review of Screen Recorder Gold
This tiny utility lets you create demo videos that capture what's happening on your PC screen. It can record the entire screen, a window, or any part of the screen. The recording area also can follow the cursor. The program offers several features to make the demonstrations clearer. For example, it highlights mouse-click areas with colored circles and adds sounds on keystrokes and clicks. You can switch off the cursor or change its shape. The handy interface lets you configure hot keys to start and stop recording. In our tests, Screen Recorder Gold didn't slow down the PC performance very much, even when capturing the entire screen. However, we couldn't successfully record sound. Simple and compact, Screen Recorder Gold will especially suit support specialists who want to record a problem and demonstrate the solution.
