How To Trade Safely With Paypal

Hey guys Im starting to sell GP and I would like to be able to trade through paypal because its so easy and convenient. However, I really worried about the risks involved ( I dont want to lose my money )

I was wondering if anyone has a guide or tips to trading safely with paypal.

I was about to trade with someone who said they had a bank funded paypal but when they sent the funds I saw a fee was deducted from the payment and this guide;

Says that is a dead give away that the paypal is c.c. funded. I told the guy to claim and cancel and he said that the guide was out dated and claim and cancel doesnt even work anymore. Is this true?

Have them send it to you via gift under the personal tab saying something like "gift for virtual service, i will not dispute this transaction".

 

Yeah dude one of the only safe ways to trade is through gift. Make them also state in the message i have recieved virtual goods and i will not dispute this transaction.

 

can they not refund a gift? i'm also wondering the same thing

 

They can refund a gift but most of the time it will not be refunded, due to the message. I have seen gifts refunded but most of the time its due to them saying it was a unauthorized transaction.

 

Can you still claim and cancel?/

There is no way to find out whether a payment is a gift or not.

 

I tried claim & cancel, but Paypal held the funds once the unauthorised case was filed. There is no way for even the buyer to get his money back until Paypal have reviewed the transaction
