How to survive high school?

How about you grow up, fit in with the people you like to talk to, and just live... its the same as middle school, just more drugs and violence . I, personally fit with the prep crowd. I am happy with it and if I chose otherwise I probably wouldnt have met my gf of 17 months. GL and just do what feels right... its not hard

High school isn't hard, lots of people try and make it seem harder than it is. The hardest thing about high school was the excessive homework. Find a group of people who suit you, hang out with them. Don't be an ass and you should be fine.

by far the easiest way to make friends within a few minutes, is ask around who r the biggest potheads, and sell them weed 4 cheap. then ur tight.

lol ihad the same problem when i was going into high school im now in grade 11, which is cool i know everyone and its cool just chill out dont worry about others just worry about ur self. im doing just fine even know i only got grade 10 classes cuz its all tech but ya just beyourself dont be someone you dont wanna be.

also go 2 ur schools libary, theres computers there get on them and do stuff, you dont have 2 read or do that stuff, hell i even see " cool kids " in there.

Dont listen to these noobs, half are prob only just in highschool anyway. i finished highschool 2 years ago.

Dont think of highschool like you want to just get it over and done with, dont just think, oh i dont need friends i can get along fine on my own. Its not until you finish and leave is it when you get an understanding of whats important.

Most people that finish school miss it, i do. not the work and all that but miss the constant interaction (even if its not direct) with hundreds of kids my age. To be the kid that doesnt make friends during school is going to line them up with a life time of loneliness. You need to learn how to interact in school, otherwise you will fail in the real world.

Also, school can be fun. make it fun, dont be the kid always sad cos he gets picked on, be the one to ignore it, make the damn most of it because you will never be able to do it again and may have regrets. I feel like i wasted my early years, wasnt until about year 10 that i was feeling comfortable and didnt hate school.

 

Stay close with your old friends

Pay attention in Algebra is all the advice that I can give. It's not a tough class as long as you know what you're doing and actually learn the stuff.

 

Here's some advice, get good grades, highschool matters a lot when it comes to grades especially if you're going to college. About the fitting in part, just be social sit with random people bring up a topic to talk about with someone to make a few friends, that's how I made my friends, just talk about random shit with someone in your class.

 

Just try to be yourself, and don't get in the way of upperclassmen. Socializing isn't that important just focus on grades, and if they're doing fine start socializing some more. This was my first day of high-school too so.

 

Being yourself is the biggest crock of bullshit i've ever seen. Anyone who ever just wants to be themselves ends up with the other losers who are only themselves. Dress nice, get a job to pay for clothes, some nice shoes(nike air forces sugguested). Be fake, be fake because everyone else thats in the popular clique is fake, so now you have something in common. I'm being dead serious. And I'm sick of this loner shit. If you look nice, then you can walk alone all you want but if you dress scrubbish then people are going to think less of you, it's a fact. Stay clean, do your hair how you do your hair in the morning, brush your teeth, shower... and talk to people. Don't be like the egotistical nerds who think that they're just so much more intelligent than everyone else, and everyone else is too stupid to hold a conversation with them. I guarantee you, if you just talk to random people about anything you will make a friend, it's natural. Play a sport if your good at them, if not then DON'T. DO NOT EAT ALONE. Take a chance and sit at a table with some social people, I guarantee at least one of them will talk to you and make you feel welcome. AND FOR GODS SAKE!! PASS ALL YOUR CLASSES!!! if it's one thing i regret it's slacking off like a fuckin' doofus and messing it up for my senior year.
