How to start developing a reflection bot?

Let's suppose I want to know my current hitpoints stat through reflection, using Java. What should I do to achieve that? Remember, I don't want to use 3rd party botting clients nor do I need reflection tutorials.
I want to make the bot myself, from scratch. I hope anyone has had any experience with it here, would love to hear from you!
No in depth tutorials needed. Step by step, what is the thought process here?

@Brostar yes, I would say so. Reflection is not part of my every day work, but I've had some experience with it. The thing I need to know is how to start developing a reflct. bot. The end goal is to get the .class files, right? Now my question is, how can I get them?

 

unfortunately those forums are pretty old, I would get an answer in a week...

I couldn't find much on googling osrs reflection. Either pointless code snippets or some bad tutorial on reflection overall.

All I want to know is how to start/ set things up to start using reflection. Anyone on here have had any experience in that?

I usually do color or sub-image searching. But this time I need written text from chat box and doing OCR would be over kill
