    Click For Advanced Rendering Guide

Hey guys, I made this guide hoping to give others some knowledge on graphics design and photoshop. It's a quick simple guide on basic rendering.

*This guide for editing renders can only be use on single colour backgrounds, when you get into multicolor background you will need to use advanced render editing techniques, this will be covered in my next guide.*

Step 1: Find an image you would like to use. The simpler the image the easier it is to edit it. Try not to get pictures with hair, because that takes alot of time and skill. I simply found mine off google images.

Step 2:Open Photoshop then open a "New Document" and chose a size for the document. I chose 400x150.

Step 3:Make a second new document (this is where you paste the image you want) Copy the image off google or where ever and paste it into the second new document. It should look like this.

Step 4:To get all the black or white away from the image you select the "Magic Wand" tool located at the top left of the screen and click once in a spot around the image, it should outline you image- when it does this hit "delete" to get rid of the black or white. Make sure your "tolerance" at the top is 1. Now click the "Move Tool"located above the "Magic Wand" and drag your image into the first document. To do this minimize both document windows.

This is a large image, so if its to big go to Edit>Transform>Scale. Grab one of the boxes the apeer and drag it inwards to shrink the image to your liking. When thats done adjust it or move it around untill it looks the best, I chose the left side.

The image affect I used in the background was used with "Pixel Flock" brush kit. Take a brush and make a "New Layer." Make that layer underneath the image you just brought in so it doesn't cover it. Use a brush to make a design or add text and your done!

A very simple way to make a signature.

But, remember to let people know that won't always work with specific images, it depends on the coloration of the image. Pretty good guide if you don't know how to remove the background off of an image, nice job Omagawd.

Pretty decent guide. If you were to step it up you could teach a bit on how to match colors and choose suitable effects for the signature. :)

Nope, for some people new to Photoshop, this guide is actually quite advanced for them.

No, it's just a quick tutorial on the grab tool.

Next steps: Throw in cropping the image (Removing the background such as: transparent or solid backgrounds) [Magic Eraser Tool in case you didn't know].
