[How-To]Quickly Find A Member Of Sythe[Champion Guide]

Do you need to PM somebody? Do you need to find a MSN? Check-up on a friend? We all know that the member list was removed to regular members due to abuse, here's a simple work around that is easy to do. Stay tuned, I'll make this as easy on you as I can.

Step One​

Being on the homepage, scroll up to the top. On the top left there should be a search button, click it and select the "Advanced Search" button.


Step Two

Alright now you should be on a page that looks like this.

In the picture you'll notice a red box surrounding the "Search By Username" section. This is where you would type in the person's sythe name you need to contact, I'll use "Time To Buy" as an example.

Step Three

I typed in "time to buy" in the box, now I have the sythe member I need to contact. Simply click the username in the blue list to be redirected to some of their recent posts.



Step Four

You're almost done, you will be on a page that looks like this.

Click on the username that I boxed in, it'll be different depending on who's profile you need to find. Once you've clicked it you're done! From here you can do several things; which is for YOU to decide.

This will really help, what I used to do was google search. One question though, does the forum you choose matter?

 

Choose "Search All Open Forums", and no problem. Glad you like it

 

Man I wish I had known about this before I had access to the memberlist search. This would have been a lot easier to find people. Good guide Champion.

Wow, it's so simple.

Mods can now memberlist search? Sheeit, lucky. Would've made some scam reports a lot easier. I would search IP for their name in ModCP and then click "find posts by all users" and then click their name that way.

Knew this the first day I came to Sythe. Surprised alot of people didn't know about this. Great guide and very useful for those looking for members and ban reasons etc.

 

Knew this, of course, and I still find using google easier actually, because I usually have it open.
Good guide though, LOVE how you took the time to border around your pictures.

I found that googling is easier than this, and googling works for 99% of the users. What I do is just search "(username) sythe view profile."

Nice guide though, didn't know about this method.
