how to port forward

ive been looking to do this forever, im running vista, with something like a speed stream router i think its called, and i cant figure out how to find the ip of my router. PLEASE HELP

Log into one of those. If you post the model name/number, I will be able to find the default username and password combination for you to log in with.

Once logged in, look for port forwarding, or something related to ports at all. From there, you will be able to select your computer, and the port you want to forward. When you're done, you can just save, and your port(s) will be forwarded.

sadly,neither of those work since im not using linksly and i think i through the box and manual away

According to the manual, the default router page is: http://speedstream (No TLD)

You can also access it via http://192.168.254.254 .

However, without the model name/number, I still cannot provide you with the username or password.
