How to overclock your video card

there is a program called powerstrip

its really simple to use. once you install it look at the system tray and right click on powerstrip>then go to preformance profiles> then configure. you can adjust the clock rates of your Gpu using the slider bars.

after you do this you should check to make sure that your system stable using burnin test download here ---- -----http://www.passmark.com/products/bit.htm


this helped my little brother run WoW on his comp. and i hope this will help some of you aswell

lol, thats cool. I've never even thought about that. Is there away to find ur defualt settings? so u know your limits?

 

your default settings are shown before you edit anything, just look at the clock speeds of your video card using powerstrip, ijust look at the clock speeds to the left of the slider bars, and there is also a option to reset the default settings

 

um is good chace burnin down the card? i never heard of it should i give er try

This can kill your video card/processor if you don't know what you are doing..

 

dont use if yours is littlerly built into your comp rofl. not a good idea

 

use ATI Tool instead. Alot better, and despite it's name it can run on NVIDIA cards as well.

I got a X800 i don't need to overclock my VGA card i was just warning people that don't know anything about overclocking that they should not use this

Also i know how to overclock a VGA card it aint hard but its not worth it.
