How to make a website [Easy][No programming!]

Hello Sythe, this is my second guide on here. With this walkthrough, I will teach how to make a simple site for dummies, just clicking, no programming at all!

Let's get started! Go to Webs or simply click this image! (It's completely unnecessary to select website type, it won't affect anything.)



1. Create your WebsID : Fill in all the information correctly, especially your e-mail adress. You can't do anything without it.

2. Set up your site : As long as you don't pay, there will be an additional .webs after the site adress. You can easily remove this later, by paying.
Choose a titel for your site. Don't put something random! This will appear on top of your site. (But, ofcourse, you can edit it whenever you feel like.)
Now chose your site category. (As I think a lot of people will use this guide to create game fora/ websites, Games is located in the 2nd tab, 3rd place, for those who are too lazy to search it .)

3. Select a template for your site : This doesn't really matter YET. Personally I suggest you do this later. But, feel free to chose a fancy theme already!

Accept with the TOS and proceed to the next step!
Double-check the following info is correct on the next screen:

* Email Address

* Site Address

* Site Title

* Site Purpose

4. Choose pages for your site



Scroll through these options attentively, and select these you want. Don't just select everything, you'll site will be a mess.

Adshield on! Mouse on 'No Thanks, Continue' and spamclick or die!
Just kidding, it isn't that bad. Like 3 ads, and you can start building your site!

Click on 'Context Box' And add a message!



Use the Context Box to inform the members/visitors of your site about updates!

1. Enter the title of your Box here! (Example; "Welcome!")
2. Write something here. (Example; "Glad you're visting my site! This site is about....."
3. Click this when you're ready adding/editting context boxes.
4. Put a context box 1 space higher/lower.
5. Divide your context box in either 2 or 3 columns.
6. Add/Delete a context box.

Click on 'Page Options' to chose between the following options:

All clear, can't tell much more about it.

Click on 'New Page' to add a New Page, lol. A blog or a forum maybe? Your site, your decission!

Stuck anywhere and my guide doens't help? Click on 'Help'.

Click on 'View' to watch your site without edit functions, but visitors won't be able to notice changes yet.

Click 'Publish' to safe all changes and make is public for anyone!

Template

Subcategoria:

- Change template: Scroll through the long lists of templates and choose one that matches your site! (If you like a template, but not its color, simply click it, there may be other colors available)
- Change background: Select a color, or upload/select an image for your bankground!
- Titles & Footer: Change the title and the footer of your site here if you're unhappy with the previous one. You can also edit the font, color and size!
- Change logo: Warning! When using a selfmade logo, you'll need to spend some time on it. Click on 'upload image', but it won't be able to make it fit! Take your time for it and be patient!
- Advanced: This is coding, I won't explain that in this thread.

Sidebars

When you click this for the first time you will see the following screen:

Click on 'Enable sidebars' and proceed!

Subcategoria:

- Custom Module: Create your very own sidebar!
- Widget Module: Add (an) application(s) to your sidebar; games, a countdown clock...
- Turn sidebars off: Unhappy with it? One click solves all problems!

Don't forget to save your changes!


Members

Ah, members, what would you be without 'em?

Subcategoria:

- Manage members: Invite members by sending them an e-mail, whether entering their e-mail adress or entering yours. (Then it will automatically send the mail to all your contacts). You can also change the members' permissions here.
- Send Email Blast: Select the category of members you want to send your message to, your message itself, possibly see a preview, and BLAST!
- Sent Emails: Database of the e-mails you have sent.
- Profile Questions: Add a question that will be stated in a member's profile. Private: They CAN answer. Required: They MUST answer.
- Members settings: Edit the joining rules and category description.

Can i make verify-able emails with this hosting?

 

Yes, if you pay for it, the ads will be gone, and so will the .webs be.
That way, I'm pretty sure you can also verify an e-mail with it.
