How to make a Potatoe Gun

First of all, I would like to start out with saying that there is many many different variations of a potato/apple/pineapple/tomato/peach/pear/anything else you can cram down the barrel, gun. You can tweak different things so you get different performances. I am showing what has worked best for me at the moment. Out of the gun I will show you how to make I have shot many things from baby powder in a paper towel cartdridge to a corn on the cob. On to the guide!

Materials: (Diagram under Mats list)
Pvc pipe measuring 2 1/2 feet of 1 1/2 inch diameter(around this size). G
A converter ( I dont know what its called) that will move from 3 inches diameter to the pipe above) F
1 1/2 feet of 3 in diameter Pvc E
Female end cap C/D
Male end cap cover thing(circle cap that has a square top that screws into the thing above) B
Drill K
Screw
Pvc glue H
Drilling bit
Grill starter, or lantern lighter(the one that takes the lighter flint), or my favorite a long grill lighter... you know the ones that click and have a long metal tube that you stick in a grill or light a candle with. A

O.K. here we go
first if you have longer pvc cut it down to specific lengths sand down rough edges
then glue all the peices together starting with the smallest, then the converter, then the large pipe, then the female end cap, then the male end cap////dont glue male end cap on\\\\ let dry
ok heres the part were we have a few options if you have a grill starter, the one thats a button you press and it clicks till grill lights up. or a lantern starter you have to drill your hole in the male end cap on the square as close to the middle as you can fasten your ignighter on however you choose, i dont know i didnt use this method my friend did.
My method for starter, drill a whole in the large pipe twoards the female end cap, big enough to put the lighter in half way down, now tape it in with duct tape.
now take a screw and drill it in right before the converter on the small end(so it stops the ammo from falling in the fuel chamber)
now your ready if its fully dry
load your ammo, id start with potatoes, as you get more experienced you can advance on to other things, finally, open male end cap, and take hairspray for about 4 seconds(mississippi) then screw cap on fast and ignite(MAKE SURE YOU STUFFED AMMO ALLL THE WAY DOWN TO THE SCREW WITH A BROOM HANDLE OR ANYTHING ELSE LIKE THAT)

Your format is horrible, and the lack of pictures, as well as color, makes it unbearable to the eye. Your guide is filled with grammatical errors. However, I do like the topic, though you don't get much points for thinking of an interesting topic. Try spacing out your guides, they look crammed together.

Overall, a 2.5/10. You lost three marks for lack of pictures, two for lack of grammar, two for failed format and half a mark for a mistake in the title.

Fuck, I was hoping to open this thread and see an epic thread with tons of pictures and shit.

I'm disappointed.

 

I'm about to say basically the same thing as Marrow said...but what the heck.

So, the first impression I got off this was that making a POTATO gun (not potatoe) lol, might be kind of cool and a fun thing to do. I was ready to check it out and see how to make one, but when I opened the thread. I saw no color, and no pictures, and that made me not want to read the guide at all. That's why Marrow said you don't get a lot of points for just thinking of a good topic. Also, after tweaking this guide up with some pictures, colors, and fixing spelling and grammatical errors, I suggest you continue to make some guides with cool topics like this one...just make lay them out better next time.

You still aren't getting the point of pictures. You can't post one picture on the bottom and say "hey I put in a picture now, my guide must be sub-standard".
