how to make a main?

Hey sythe , Ive been playing runescape for years now and all have ever done is pk. I have never had a real main besides my first account because all I made was pures and zerkers etc.

I really want to make a main for bossing / slaying and all that other stuff ive missed out on by just pking over the years . But really I have no idea where to start.

I have this account i could use , it has lunars and ancients but not much other quests done




What quests should I do first ? what should I train first ? What should my goals be?
I really need some advice on where to start with this account

The best thing about a main is you can't screw it up by doing the wrong quests or training the wrong levels. A main basically encompasses everything there is to do in the game. So start with every quest you can and have fun not caring about screwing yourself over with quests/levels

 

Best things for you to do, get Barrows gloves if you
haven't already, turmoil, work up your dungeoneering for rewards
that can be useful, and pretty much max your combat stats.
If your interested in bossing, Ovls and spec restores come in handy.
Mains are a handful so, try raising your stats while slaying to get the
slay feel as you wanted. There isnt much to mess up basically so just go all out on it!

yeah, like spray and wipe said is you have no obligations to train single skills a main is however you want to play you play. do the ftp quests and then do the ptp quests as you feel the need

 

I would personally get 70 pray/def first so you'll be able to use the piety prayer. Then get your combat stats up, followed by dung for a chaotic

 

Honestly, you have to bot. Get 99 Strength and 80+ attack along with 75+ defense. But finding a stable combat bot would prove difficult at this time.

Get 70 prayer and 70 def, then get piety and get better gloves in Recipe for Disaster, aim for barrows.

Even doing the above, you won't exactly be read for PVMing. Turmoil helps A LOT, Soul Split and the extra bonuses you get from turmoil (compared to Piety). Don't forget overloads, they help, but they aren't necessary as supers would suffice.

 

Firstly get all requirements for piety and then get the defence up to 80+. If you have the time, max the melee stats out.

I made my main by training all skills till 20, then till 50, then i took combat stats up to 70+ and started skilling every lvl to 60+ again, and i quested a lot, now i'm doing well on it.

 

Here's a good idea:

Start at skills at top left and get 80+ everything going all the way down the column.. then do the same for second and last column.. your total level would be 2039 AT LEAST.. then you can do every quest/etc.. just start that skilling.. and simba can help
