How to let your computer shut down automatically.

    .: ntro :.

Hello Sythe! This is my 3rd guide so far, and counting! I'm enjoying myself making those, so expect more of them in the future!

First of all, we will need Shutter.

The setup is very easy and basic, I suggest creating a shortcut on your destkop. When you finished the setup, double click the icon on your destkop. You will see the following screen popping up:

    1. Event

    • Countdown: Set up a countdown, and as soon as it hits 0, you're computer will automatically shut down once the counter hits zero. (hours : minutes : seconds) It'll start counting when you click'Start [4]'.
    • On Time: Give in the exact time you want your computer to shut down! (matches your computerclock [Bottom right corner of your screen]). It uses the 24 hour clock, for those who doesn't know, so 09:00PM (+12 hours) = 21:00, 10:00pm (+12 hours) = 22:00 etc.
    • Reboot

I won't give any information about the other options as they are not very useful and the information about them is pretty much in the name.

    2. Action

Select the action you wan't your computer to perfrom after the time's up.

    My personal suggestions are
    • Sleep
    • Shut down
    • Log off
    • Alarm
. Especially that last one is very useful. Oh, I almost forgot, No Action is awesome. Seriously. For those who aren't that bright I am kidding, indeed.

Last - but not least! DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP!

    Click on 'Options [3]'

After that, follow above steps; Options > On action > Force to close (only supports the options I recommended)

IF YOU WANNA CLOSE SHUTTER WHILE IT'S COUNTING, YOU WILL FIND AN ICON IN CORNER ON THE RIGHT BOTTOM OF YOUR SCREEN.

So, I thought a lot of people didn't know this yet and I hope it's been useful for those. Comment/Ratings/Tips/Thanks are still appreciated!
