You may want to add in a step on verifying the md5sum of your .iso file. It kinda sucks trying to install it 50 times only to find out it was a corrupted iso.

Other than that, maybe use a screen shot for the last picture, good guide though.

 

Pictures kinda need to be smaller. Lay out the guide better. The content is decent. I thought that most of it was kinda self explanatory, but the guide overall is decent.

 

Decent guide, but you might want to explain how to burn the iso file, and also explain the difference between burning the iso to a disk, and copying the ico to a disk.

You can also use VirtualBox and/or VMWare to mount the .iso of a downloaded Linux ISO.

 

Are you sure that works? I know it'll mount the .iso, but you don't use Windows to Install another OS. So, it wouldn't even work.. Like, because your at the BIOS screen when you start to install it.. Not, on Windows.

 

Nice guide, I'll have to try linux myself one day and when i do I'll follow this tut. Very well written.

 

It doesn't install the OS. Just mounts it and pretends. Slightly laggier but I just said it as an added possibility.
