[How To] Install Application Taskbar

Guide On How To Download And Install An Application Launcher Bar.​

I have written this guide on my own. I haven’t leeched this from anywhere.


Step 1:
Go to your Internet browser and type in www.rocketdock.com


Step 2:
You will now be on the homepage, it should look something like this:


Step 3:
Feel free to read the little bit of information it has about it. Now click “Download”. Another page will popup.



Step 4:
Make sure your computer meets the requirements needed to install this program first. If it does, Click “Download Rocketdock”

A Binary File should come up. It’s completely safe to download.





Step 5:
Wait for it to download, it shouldn’t take too long, depending on your Internet Speed.


Step 6:
After it has downloaded, Double click on the file, and install it.
Just incase you are having any trouble installing it, refer to the pictures below, it should help you.





Now the Installation will pop-up.






Step 7:
Locate the program wherever you saved it, and open it.


Step 8:
It will appear on your desktop.
(I have customized mine a bit, yours is fully customizable aswell)


Step 9:
I’ll try and show you the best I can on how to customize it. Hover your mouse over the RocketDock bar, and find the “Settings” Icon, And click on it.


Clicking on it will open up a menu. There is a lot you can change here. From the Theme of the bar, to the text colours.

For a first Guide, good bloody job.

I love your usage of pictures and the neatness of the Guide. However, you should try using font sizes, colors, and sizes to somewhat 'amplify' your Guide a bit, making it more appealing to those who read it.
**This is almost a necessity for me for the title of a Guide, as it's used to draw the users in to read more.

Good job overall, and I hope to see more Guides around from you in the future.

I'm as surprised as Unbanned is, I've only ever seen few guides of this quality, not to mention the fact that this is your first guide. It's neat, it contains alot of pictures and the information on the subject is plentiful. I would like you to make more guides like this and hopefully even make a UE application. Great job.

Wow, the positive feedback really means a lot.

I'm going to write another guide hopefully tonight, and hopefully apply soon, i just want more feedback on my guides before i apply, seeing that people like them etc.

Agreed. Although.. The subject matter lacks in my opinion. Installation of any software is usually self explanatory. If you can download MSN, you can download a taskbar. I suggest expanding your guide skills with a better subject matter.
