You might want to add a suggestion for MSN Plus, this automatically keeps nicely organized chat logs that makes keeping track of screenshots a lot easier.

Well done overall though.

 

I believe once you log out, those chat logs are gone, unless you save them.
You can get them while logged out but they aren't the original conversation screen and can't be used as evidence.
It's not really an efficient way to do it, you should always take the screenshots as you go as well; this way they're saved in case anything happens to your computer (randomly turns off etc.)

 

You can set it to save all your conversations.

The point is that it provides a very useful tool for organizing conversational logs.

When you first open it up, it's organized by month. So you can see exactly who you talked to in that month, as deals often go sour further along the line and it's useful to keep track of your transactions .

The point is not for it to replace screenshots, but to help keep it more organized considering that's what half your post is about.

edit: perhaps try it out for yourself, it really does help. Also, it is a much nicer interface than regular MSN.

 

You can't use those logs as proof though, so it would be more efficient to just organise the screen shots, that way there is no need to look at those logs for any reason.
