Come on, we all know UE is just full of people trying to get the rank - nobody actually cares about the guides.

This is correct.

It's not like someone can apply for UE, get accepted and then slack off. We have to constantly write guides, give feedback to other's guides and answer people in H&R. If we didn't have these, a lot less people would've gotten answers to their questions. If you want a senior members view on it contact pen, he's the one who invented it.

UE was probably a good idea back in the day, but its really gone downhill.

It's not like we accept anyone in who writes five guides, they're other factors. We have to check the maturity of the person as well. We also have to try and find people who are probably not going to become scammers. UE's an important part of the forum regardless of what others think.
